Last month, in announcing his intent to join his former Guns ‘N Roses bandmates in Cleveland this Saturday for the group’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Slash stated he did so with reservation. While he appreciated the honor, he stated that “it’s sort of a bittersweet thing too because there’s so many artists that aren’t inducted, that came way before Guns did, that actually deserve more to be in there and they’re not in there.” Continue reading

Ace Frehley Autobiography Due in Stores Next Week: Excerpts Now Available

Ace Frehley, known as the “Spaceman” from his days (1972 – ’82, 1996 – ’02) as lead guitarist in the hard-rockin’ KISS, has completed work on his autobiography titled “No Regrets”, which is due to be released to bookstores nationwide on Nov. 1.  Publisher Simon & Schuster just released an excerpt of the tome to the public on their website. Former Skid Row Singer Sebastian Bach Displaced After Irene

Another rocker affected by the storm was former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach. “I am numb, in shock, & devastated to report that my home of 21 years, my house featured on MTV Cribs, has been destroyed, condemned, & deemed uninhabitable due to the extreme flooding courtesy of Hurricane Irene,” the singer reported on his facebook page. Also presumed lost in the flood were master tapes from his days in Skid Row, and various priceless rock memorabilia, including a KISS pinball machine and gargoyles from the 1979 KISS tour.
