Contemporary thrashers Trivium were one of many bands who Rocked the Range in Columbus on 5.20.12. Lead guitarist Corey Beaulieu was kind enough to take the time to sit down for an interview, and we talked about all things metal!
The shredder spoke of his influences, his love of arpeggios, and we spoke about the overall state of rock music and metal in America. Even though it was a pretty hot day (for Ohio), Beaulieu didn’t seem to be too bothered by the heat – but then again, Trivium is based out of the state of Florida, a region not known for its cold days, after all…
